This is the part we all dread until it is done, and we end up feeling
so much better for it... Exercise!!
It is definately a case of If you don't use it, you will
lose it!
It is not a matter of going to the gym for 5 hours a day seven
days a week, it is about taking care about what we do and enhancing
our lives and bodys in the process.
If you are able to go to the gym, make it count! Don't just go
on the treadmill and walk, you can do that around a park, getting
fresh air and some vitimin D. There are also things that can be
done in our daily lives which will help, like walking to the shops
rather than driving, take the stairs rather than the lift, squat
down to pick things up off the floor rather than bending and hurtng
our backs.
So many people suffer with back problems, which is usually a result
of bad posture, and I am one of them. However, over time and with
some help from friends I no longer suffer like I did with my back
pain. I try to adapt my posture, and make sure that I do stretch
on a regular basis. I enjoy Yoga, and try to do some when I can,
but my life usually gets in the way. However, once in a while is
still better than never, and it means although I may find some of
the postures hard going, I am still able to do them. If I was to
stop I would struggle to do them at all. A little often can make
all the difference.
